Day of Rest Sunday 9-9-12
Debbie and I had a lazy morning. I called mom and she was very tired and asked that we not come over today. We got dressed and headed to the grocery store then walked around the shops in the square a block away. Sea Isle is a beautiful little seaside town and after Labor Day the majority of people go home and only the locals are here during the week. The weekend traffic will continue as long as the weather stays good and it is warm enough to be outdoors. Debbie wanted to go to Atlantic City so we drove over there about 4 and stayed until about 8 then came home. "Betty" had issues with which way she wanted us to go and cost us an additional $1.50 in tolls so without that it would have cost us $4.25 in tolls and $5.00 to park and we hadn't even gambled yet....geez. We had a good time and both of us lost but not a lot for either of us. Debbie got to see the boardwalk finally but we didn't go too far. We will have time to do it again before we leave. We are going to fix dinner for mom tomorrow so hopefully she will be feeling better. I need to get some work done in the morning before we head that way. We will keep you posted.

Glad you two made it safely and hope you have some fu while I NJ. I'm sure your visit will give your Mom some spark. My friend ad I did ride te cycles to Wildwood( I on my Spyder and he on his Kawasaki). Almost 150 mile day. Fun but hot. Unfortunately about three Hors after we returned my friend got dizzy and passed out hurting his leg when he fell he figures he was dehydrated and he checked and his blood pressure was low. Naturally enough he will not be riding with me to Ocean City Md to see Michele. I'll still go but maybe in my truck. Well have fun but disappointed with no fork in the road!!
